It’s important to understand what you or your brand has to give – whether it’s physical, material, or even just an experience. Once you know what you give to others, you can go about building this into the performance and strategy of your brand.
Use what you have to give as your brand’s starting point. If you can give something to others, you are more likely to magnetise and attract them to your brand. If you’re just selling something, you’re immediately creating a barrier unless there’s a huge desire or motivation for that product or service.
Most brands and products that succeed do so because they give us something first, even if it’s just a positive feeling.
