When we create a brand, it’s important to look for key statements that actualise and verbalise the things that make our brands different in the world. One element in this process of presenting our brand clearly to our market or markets is generating and identifying a brand motto.
My personal brand motto influences and defines my world everyday, and is a checkpoint to ensure that I’m always performing to an outstanding brand standard.
“Fear is nothing, belief is everything, but you don’t do it alone.”
My brand motto influences and defines my world everyday. Everything I approach, as an individual or part of a creative team within my business, is driven from a position of trying new things, leaving fear behind, and exploring fresh thinking and ideas.
This motto is also founded in the importance of believing in and having a passion for your craft. It highlights the value of teamwork, and the benefits of drawing upon the energy of others.
The notion of forgetting fear and focusing on belief encourages openness to insights, new stimuli and constructive criticisms; and this allows us to become so much stronger individually and as a team. If you are inviting people in, or leaving the door open for them to connect to your brand journey and your passion, you can create more opportunities for insight and inspiration.
My motto is about taking people to a position of fearing less, because it’s not about looking at limits, but beyond them. We’re looking at opportunities for what we can create, and how to share this with others.
At the end of the day your personal brand motto should act as a mobilisation statement, connected to every aspect of everything you do, clarifying your passion, craft and distinguishing features for those around you. What’s your brand motto?
